Mary Margaret Underwood has earned a reputation of curating beautiful homes blending traditional and transitional details to each interior, collaborating with clients and gently guiding them through the design process. Her background, education and world travel gives her a keen and fresh eye to make each project unique and personal for her clients.

Underwood Design will work with you from the ground up on an entire home, a renovation or one room. We are a full-service residential and commercial interior design firm often working as a guiding partner between owner, architect and builder. Mary Margaret has been a portrait specialist for over 20 years and has assisted both corporate and family clients with selecting an artist for their legacy portraits.
Mary Margaret is happily married to her business partner, Bob, who handles the books giving Mary Margaret the time to design for her clients. She is also a mom of four amazing children: Mary Cannon (and new son-in-law Collin), Scottie, Hampton and Michael. In addition, she is also fortunate to have two beautiful step-daughters: Mary Katherine and Brianne.
